[Akatsuki x Reader] Sweets Time-Red Bean Dango

Feeling really bored of sitting at snack shack with nothing to do, you lay your head on the table as you look out the entrance to see the passing clouds in the sky.


Not really sure of what exactly you’re looking at, you sighed terribly in defeat.


Leader-sama assigned you with Itachi on a mission, although you had to admit, you didn’t know about your compatibility with the Uchiha. For one thing, it’s that you barely knew anything about him, besides his past and crime. Other than that, it’s like you’re a stranger to him.


Currently you gave up on trying to get Itachi to continue to wherever you had to go, since you were too tired to even complain. Besides, you had to wake up early at like 3 in the morning to set out without eating breakfast. Eating here might be a good substitute.


Itachi was sitting across from you on a bench patiently as he waited for his beloved dangos.


With only green tea slowly cooling in front of you, you looked at the lined patterns running across the ceramic cup boredly.


Sitting up straight, you took the cup in your hand and sipped gratefully. Then you realized [for some reason] that you didn’t order any food. Staring blankly at the wiggling liquid in your cup, you set it down and simple shook your head, not caring anymore.


What does it matter? You didn’t feel so hungry, either way.  


Finally, the kind old lady came by with Itachi’s order of dangos, to which you noticed were all red bean flavored.


Sighing, which apparently seems to be the only thing you do, you looked outside the scenery, to which you saw blooming flowers that you never saw around the base.


To you, they were very beautiful, and you were so engrossed on looking at basically anything, other than the weasel that you didn’t notice a finger poking your face until a pain was felt on your forehead.


“Ita!”


You turned and rubbed your head to see a bored looking Itachi who seemed a little annoyed at the fact that you practically ignored the pokes and attempts of gaining your attention. Although you thought he should of just called your name.


“Um…? Do you need anything, Itachi-senpai?” You asked sheepishly.

“...”


With no reply from the senior, you were soon meeting face to [sphere?] with a stick of dango.


Itachi held it for you as another one was stuck in his mouth.


“Here. You’re hungry, aren’t you?” And you thought that for a second, you saw a warm smile plastered on the raven’s face as you took the stick and nibbled on it.

How did he know, though? That red bean dangos were your favorite?
